
Three Raiders Named to Tennis All-Horizon League Teams

Three Wright State players were recognized Friday night as the tennis All-Horizon League teams were announced at the pretournament banquet in Indianapolis. On the men's side, junior Lance Koetter was named to the First Team and junior Tony Teufel was selected to the Second Team while on the women's side, senior Tiffani Foster was a First Team honoree.
Koetter posted an 8-14 record in first singles for the Raiders, including a 2-3 mark in Horizon League play, and added nine wins in doubles play. Teufel was 16-15 in singles action, including wins over UW-Green Bay, Youngstown State and Cleveland State, and had 19 doubles wins, 10 of those with Nick Camilleri.
Foster was 11-15 in singles, including 10-8 in the first position, and teamed with Audra Beckett for six wins in doubles.
Both teams begin play in the Horizon League Championships Saturday morning as the women take on UIC at 9 a.m. while the men face UW-Green Bay at 11 a.m. Both tournaments wrap up on Sunday with automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament on the line.
