
Volleyball Drops Five-Set Heartbreaker at UIC

The Wright State volleyball team won the first two sets, but could not hold on as the UIC Flames rallied for a five-set decision in Horizon League action at the Flames Athletic Center Friday night, taking the match 20-25, 17-25, 25-23, 25-18, 15-10.
The Raiders won the first two sets by hitting .387 and .556, respectively, but finished the night at .204 overall.
Jessica Woods posted a double-double with a career-high 21 kills and 10 digs as did Michelle Hammond had a double-double of her own with 46 assists and 14 digs.
Wright State (10-17, 2-10 Horizon) concludes its stay in the Windy City at Loyola Saturday afternoon, starting at 5:00 Eastern.
