The lead came on a string of WSU points starting with a service ace from Woods to knot the match at 19-19. That was followed by kills from Michelle Hammond, before Woods capped it off with another service ace. After three straight YSU points, an attacking error gave WSU set point and Leonhard ended the set with a kill.
It was back and forth between the two teams early in set, before WSU went on a 9-2 run to grab an 18-11 edge. Woods posted four kills during that span and the Green and Gold traded points to close out the set and grab a 2-1 edge in the match.
Woods and Leonhard each collected four kills in the fourth set and the Raiders posted a .250 hitting percentage, never trailing in the set to claim the victory. WSU had 15 kills, one service ace and forced the Penguins into five hitting errors to close out the season finale in the McLin Gymnasium.
