The Wright State volleyball team ran its record to 7-1 with a 25-21, 25-16, 25-12 win over the Saint Peter's Peahens Saturday morning at the Raider Challenge. WSU is off to its best start since 2001's 10-1 record.
Senior Becca Awaa collected a match-high 10 kills for a .333 hitting percentage to go with eight digs and two blocks. Junior Lexi Leonhard ended with eight kills and 13 digs. Seniors Michelle Hammond and Tina Paunicka each had 16 kills to lead the Raiders.
