The Wright State women's soccer team won its fourth consecutive match on Wednesday night , rallying for a 3-2 decision at Indiana State.

The Sycamores (3-7-1) struck first as a foul by Wright State set up a free kick for Kourtney Vassar in the 23rd minute. Vassar slipped the ball past Raider goalkeeper Stephanie Pitstick to notch the only goal of the first half for either team.

Brittany Persaud would tie the game for the Raiders in the 53rd minute, sneaking the ball under the crossbar from 18 yards out. Bekah Bonny was credited with the assist on the goal.

A flurry of shots in the 69th minute led to the second goal for Wright State. After a shot from Bekah Bonny hit off the post, Morgan Butler corralled the rebound and fired, but had her shot knocked away by Sycamore goalkeeper Emily Lahay. Bonny, though, would collect the rebound off the save and find the back of the net for her first goal of the season.

Indiana State would make it interesting as the Sycamores utilized a pair of headers in the 82nd minute to tie the game at 2-2. Morgan Wendlandt had her shot dismissed by Pitstick only for Seyma Erenli to head the ball into the lower left corner.

Persaud would strike again, however, in the 84th minute for what would prove to be the game-deciding goal. Lori Anderson crossed the ball into the box for Persaud, who buried the shot into the left corner from 12 yards out.

The Raiders outshot the Sycamores on the evening 15-11. WSU also held a lead in corners 6-2.

Wright State (6-4-2) hopes to continue its winning streak on Friday evening when they face off against Ohio Dominican. The match is Homecoming for the Raiders and is set to begin at 7:30 at Alumni Field. It will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
