Wright State tied it with a goal in the final minute of the first half, but IUPUI scored in the 74th minute as the Jaguars defeated the Raiders 2-1 Tuesday night at Park Tudor High School in Indianapolis.
Nate Ohmer gave IUPUI a 1-0 advantage with a goal at the 24:39 mark on an assist by Kyle Hyland, only to see the Raiders tie it at the 44:46 mark as Jordan Haggit scored his second goal in as many games. Haggit connected from 25 yards out off a pass by Drake Stewart, his first assist of the season.
It stayed that way until the Jaguars tallied the game-winner at the 73:30 mark as Ryan Robinson headed in the goal on an assist by Denny Moynihan.
The Raiders had a 15-9 shot edge, but IUPUI (9-6-1) held on for the win as goalkeeper Alex Mannan had three saves.
Wright State (4-10-1) returns to Horizon League play on Saturday with an 8:00 Eastern match at Milwaukee
