Swimming Drops Dual Meet to Oakland

The Wright State swimming and diving teams dropped a dual meet to Oakland Saturday at the WSU Natatorium, the men falling to the Golden Grizzlies 167-115 and the women 164-130.
Hermanus Botha led the way for the Raider men as he won the 100 and 200 free while Caleb Nettleton won the one meter diving competition and Corey Johnson the three meter.
On the women's side, Krystyna Wieczerzak won three individual events (100 back, 200 back and 200 IM) while Molley Pipkorn posted two wins (100 free, 200 free) and Rasa Zilinskaite was victorious the 100 fly. The team of Wieczerzak, Makenzie Weldon, Kelli Reynolds and Pipkorn won the 400 medley relay and the team of Pipkorn, Melissa Woody, Erin Stevning and Zilinskaite took the 200 free relay.
The Raider women return to action on Friday, November 12, with a 5:00 meet against Toledo at the WSU Natatorium while the men are off until the Miami Invitational December 2-4.
