Swimming Splits at Xavier

The Wright State swimming teams split at Xavier Saturday afternoon, the women winning over the Musketeers 142.5-58.5 while Xavier won on the men's side 124-79.
On the women's side, four different Raiders won two events as WSU claimed all 11 in winning the meet. Justyna Hampel won the 1000 and 500 free, Molley Pipkorn the 200 and 100 free, Rasa Zilinskaite the 50 free and 100 fly, and Krystyna Wieczerzak the 200 IM and the 100 back.
For the men, Pawel Grzebala was also a double winner in the 500 and 1000 free while Hermanus Botha won the 100 free and Hans Roser the 100 breast.
Wright State closes out the regular season on Saturday, February 5, with a 10:00 meet against Cincinnati at the WSU Natatorium.
