
Swimming Teams Finish Fourth at Horizon League

Both Wright State swimming and diving teams finished fourth as the Horizon League Championships concluded Saturday at the Robert F. Busbey Natatorium in Cleveland.
Hermanus Botha capped off his strong showing at the championships by setting a school record in the preliminaries of the 100 free in finishing second overall. He was also part of the 400 free relay team that set a school record. As a result, Botha was named the Men's Performer of the Meet along with Mark de Swardt of Cleveland State.
Other top performers for the Raiders were Krystyna Wieczerzak, who won the 200 back, Hannah Jones, who tied for second in the 200 breast, and Pawel Grzebala, who was second in setting a new school record in the 1650 free.
