Women's Soccer Defeats Eastern Kentucky

A second-half goal by Sarah Gross lifted the Wright State women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Eastern Kentucky Friday night at the Athletes in Action complex in Xenia.
Gross tallied her game-winner at the 58:01 mark as after Brittany Persaud had a corner kick from the left side, Gross knocked in the shot off a rebound.
Brooke McCurdy registered her second shutout of the season as she recorded two saves.
Wright State, which is 3-0 for the first time since starting 3-0 in 1989, puts its undefeated mark to the test Sunday night at 6:00 when the Raiders take on #7 Ohio State at the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.? OSU enters the match with a 2-1 mark after falling 1-0 at Missouri Friday night.
