
Volleyball Falls at Xavier

The Wright State volleyball team dropped a three-set decision at Xavier Tuesday night, falling to the Musketeers 25-17, 25-18, 25-20.
The Raiders jumped out to a 7-3 lead in the first set, two coming on Alaina McAuley kills, only to see the Musketeers score 12 of the next 15 points to take the lead for good.
Xavier (8-5) held the advantage throughout most of the final two sets in finishing with a 46-26 kill margin.
Heidi Splinter paced WSU with 10 kills and added eight digs while McAuley had eight kills and seven digs. Jessica Levy had 12 digs and Ashleigh Lucco 24 assists.
Wright State (2-11) resumes Horizon League play on Saturday at Milwaukee starting at 5:00 Eastern.
