Detroit scored a pair of goals within a four-minute span midway through the first half and made that stand up for a 2-0 men's soccer decision over Wright State Friday night at Alumni Field.
Matt Harkema gave the Titans (6-6, 3-0 Horizon) a 1-0 lead with a goal at the 23:39 mark on an assist by Adam Bedell and Bedell made it 2-0 with a score at the 26:54 mark as Pat Lepera recorded the assist.
WSU finished with a 15-12 edge in shots, including 10-6 in the second half, and led 10-4 in corner kicks, but could not convert.
Wright State (3-8-1, 1-2-1 Horizon) hits the road for its next three matches, starting on Tuesday with a 7:00 contest at Virginia.
