The Wright State men's tennis team ran its winning streak to 10 with a pair of wins over the weekend, defeating Duquesne 4-3 and Robert Morris 6-1.
Against Duquesne on Saturday, the Raiders claimed the doubles point as the duo of Hayden Joblin and Jamison Clark won in #1 doubles as did Martin Arguello and Lauri Makikalli in #2 doubles, but the Dukes evened the match by winning three of the first five singles despite Joblin winning in #2 singles as did Clark in #4 singles.
It came down to #5 singles and freshman Ricardo Pineda prevailed in a three-set decision to give WSU the win. Pineda lost the first set 6-4, but won the final two 6-3, 6-1.
The Raiders then posted a 6-1 decision at Robert Morris on Sunday, winning all three doubles matches and then taking five of six in singles, including each of the top four.
Wright State (11-2) is off until beginning Horizon League play on Saturday, March 24, at UIC, with the match starting at 8 pm Eastern.
