After being delayed nearly five hours due to rain, the Wright State softball team dropped a 10-2 decision at Youngstown State Saturday.
The game featured four home runs, three by the Penguins as Sarah Ingalls hit a two-run shot in the second, Samantha Snodgrass a three-run home run in the third and Haley Thomas a two-run blast in the fourth. Kacie Rapshus accounted for WSU's two runs with her first home run of the season in the fourth.
Because of the rain, Wright State (19-25, 7-9 Horizon) and Youngstown State (25-12-1, 9-7 Horizon) will wrap up their three-game series with a doubleheader Sunday starting at noon.
