Cross Country Competes at All-Ohio Intercollegiate

The Wright State cross country teams competed Friday in the 2013 All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships, held at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in Cedarville.
In the 8K men's race, the Raiders placed fifth above Dayton and Bowling Green among the Division I teams and 13th overall out of 41 teams. Senior Dan Shafer paced WSU as he finished 16th with a time of 25:43.22.
In the 6K women's race, Wright State was seventh among Division I teams above Horizon League rival Cleveland State and 22nd overall of the 42 teams. Senior Rachel Janson led the Raiders as she was 71st overall with a time of 24:16.61.
Wright State will next be in action October 18 at the Wilmington Fall Classic.
