2013 Volleyball Camp Dates Announced

Head coach Susan Clements has announced the 2013 Wright State Volleyball Camp dates.
This year's volleyball camps will be hosted in McLin Gym, the home of Raider Volleyball, with four courts and a great atmosphere on the campus of Wright State. The camps will be ran by the coaching staff and current student-athletes of the WSU volleyball team.
The camps being offered are a Positions Camp (July 20-21), a Little Raider Camp (July 22-24), an All Skills Camp (July 22-24) and a Team Camp (July 26-28).
The Positions Camp (grades 9-12) features a setter camp, which includes demonstrations and instructions for setting techniques, footwork as well as different types of sets; a hitter camp, which will cover an overview of the position and will focus on a variety of attacking skills as well as a blocking skills; and a libero camp, which will cover an overview of the position and focus on the areas of passing and defense.
The Little Raider Camp (grades K-5) is geared for those players who are beginners or are in the early stages of the development of their game. The focus will be placed on basic fundamentals of the game and each skill.
The All Skills Camp (grades 6-12) is designed to improve overall skills for the game of volleyball. The athletes will learn techniques and will receive repetition opportunites for serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking and defense.
The Team Camp (high school teams) is an overnight competition camp designed to help varsity or junior varsity teams get ready for their upcoming season. There will be an emphasis on game preparation and game competition with team coaches being actively involved.
