Track Competes in Final Day of Winthrop Invitational

The Wright State track team competed in the final day of the Winthrop Invitational Saturday in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Natassia Roberts won the discus throw with a throw of 40.89 meters while Rachel Janson finished second in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:31. Alexandra Brown finished third in the 1500 meter run with a personal best 4:58.69 and Kaley Moss took third in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:04.03. The 4x400 meter relay team of Kacia Grant, Brittany Jones, Kylie Kopp and Moss was fifth at 4:02.79.
Wright State returns to action at the Ohio Cherry Blossom Invitational in Athens on Saturday, April 5.
