Raiders make short trip for Saturday action

DAYTON – The Wright State track & field programs don't have far to travel far for action on Saturday, with the Raiders participating in the Yellow Jacket Open hosted by Cedarville. Action is set to begin at 10 a.m. with both track and field events.

Wright State is expected to have approximately 50 student-athletes competing in the meet. The opening action at 10 a.m. includes the pole vault and long jump competitions, while the first events on the track include the 10k runs and the 3,000m steeplechases as action will take place throughout the afternoon and into the evening, wrapping up around 9 p.m. after a full day of events. More than 1,400 student-athletes representing 30 institutions and nine running clubs are entered into the meet.
