
Track Finishes Fifth at League Indoor Championships

The Wright State track team finished fifth as the Horizon League Indoor Championships concluded Sunday at the Watson and Tressel Training Site in Youngstown.
Brittany Bailey, for the second straight day, set a school record by finishing second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:16.48 after previous setting the record with a 2:17.19 in the preliminaries on Saturday. Jena Studabaker placed fourth in the shot put while Kacia Grant was fifth in the 60 meter dash and Sarah-Ann Blount fifth in the 60 meter hurdles.
Wright State opens the outdoor season at the 49er Classic in Charlotte, North Carolina, March 20-21.
