
Volleyball Plays at Golden Flashes Classic

The Wright State volleyball team, after hosting the Holiday Inn Invitational, will hit the road to take part in the Kent State Golden Flashes Classic. The Raiders will play Boise State Friday at 11 am and Kent State at 3 pm followed by Eastern Michigan Saturday at 1 pm.
Wright State was led by Alannah Lemming in the opening weekend as she was named to the All-Tournament Team. Lemming led the team with nine blocks while hitting .224 overall. Katie Klusman finished with 38 kills and 32 digs.
Boise State: The Broncos opened the season with a 2-1 record in the TCU Invitational, beating Northwestern State with losses to North Carolina State and the host team. BSU was led by Kaitlyn Oliver with a .400 hitting percentage. Boise State was picked second in the Mountain West as Sierra Nobley, Maddy O'Donnell and Maddi Osburn were chosen to the preseason team with Nobley as the Player of the Year.
Kent State: The Golden Flash will enter the weekend's tournament with a 2-1 mark with wins over Stetson and Stony Brook but a loss to Central Florida. KSU was picked to finish second in the MAC East with Kelsey Bittinger, Challen Geraghty and Katrina Kojic selected to the preseason MAC East team.
Eastern Michigan: EMU, 2-1 with wins over Sacred Heart and Delaware State, was picked to finish fifth in the MAC West. At the Maryland Tournament last weekend, Jordan Smith and Mallory Rajewski were selected to the All-Tournament Team.
