Philippe Named SAAC Athlete of the Month

Alec Philippe, a junior for the Wright State men's soccer team, has been named the WSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Athlete of the month today.
Philippe scored seven goals and three assists during September while being named the Horizon League Player of the Week as he scored three goals against Cleveland State. He had a team-high 20 shots as the team went 6-0. He was also selected as a member of the College Soccer News Team of the Week. The Raiders are 8-1-1 and ranked 22nd in the United College Soccer poll and 11th in the Top Drawer Soccer poll.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee holds a monthly meeting of Wright State team captains from all 14 sports along with athletic administration to discuss issues and concerns.
