@WSU_Mens_Soccer Continues Historic Run in Polls

The Wright State men's soccer team continued its national ranking status as the Raiders were 23rd in the United Soccer Coaches Poll and 19th in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll this week.
WSU, 9-1-2 overall, is coming off an impressive 3-0 win against West Virginia Tuesday night behind Stefan Rokvic's two goals. Last week saw the Raider fall at #14/11 and traditional powerhouse Virginia 2-1 and tie Horizon League foe and nemesis UIC 1-1 at home Saturday night. Wright State started its stay in the polls on Sept. 18 and were as high as #11 in the Top Drawer Poll and ranked #22 in the Coaches Poll last week.
Rokvic and Alec Philippe lead the Raiders with nine goals each with Jackson Dietrich sitting second among the nation's leaders with 10 assists. Goalie Joel Sundell holds a 1.12 goals against averaged with three shutouts while starting 11 games.
With five games remaining on the regular-season schedule, the Raiders will jump back into Horizon League action Saturday at Oakland. The 3 pm game will be shown live on ESPN+. Wright State will next be at home Oct. 20 versus IUPUI at 7 pm. WSU sits atop the League standings at 3-0-1.
