Raiders lose to Vikings 77-74.

The Wright State men's basketball team fell behind early just to come back but ended falling at Cleveland State Thursday night 77-74.

Wright State was down at half 39-30 and by as much as 15 with just under 15 minutes remaining before the Raiders made a comeback to take the lead by four with just over six minutes left. Wright State's come back was due to a 27-8 run but the Vikings made free throws down the stretch to seal the win.

WSU is now 17-7, 9-2 while the Vikings go to 6-18, 3-8.

GAME SUMMARY

First Half Highlights

The Raiders went to the locker room down 39-30, including a 60-foot buzzer beater by CSU's Kenny Carpenter.
WSU shot only 36% while the Vikings shot 58% with eight three pointers.
Grant Benzinger had 10 points as Cole Gentry had eight points, each had two threes.

Second Half Highlights

The Raiders erased a 15-point deficit and took a four-point lead with under six minutes.
WSU went cold as CSU picked up the scoring again as the Vikings hit five of six from the line.
Wright State shot 47% from the field.

FACTS AND FIGURES

Love finished with his 10th double-double of the season with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Benzinger ended with 20 points and nine boards with four threes.
Mark Hughes had 11 points, and Jaylon Hall had 10.
WSU shot 42% for the game while the Vikes shot 49%--with 14 three pointers.
The Raiders outscored CSU 28-20 in the paint and 18-4 in second point chances.
Wright State won the rebounds 35-30 and the offensive boards at 11-5
