2/19/2018 11:20:00 AM | Men's Basketball
For a seventh time this season, Wright State's Loudon Love earned Horizon League Freshman of the Week honors, conference officials announced today.
Love, a 6-10 center from Geneva, IL, had team-high 15 points and six rebounds along with an assist and two steals as the Raiders defeated Northern Kentucky for their 20th win of the season and a share of first place in the Horizon League.
It was also the ninth time this year that a WSU player received this honor as Everett Winchester was selected twice in the first three weeks of the season.Â
The Raiders, 20-8, 12-3, play their final home game tonight at 7:30 against Cleveland State. They conclude the regular season on the road, facing IUPUI Friday at 11 am before ending the regular season Sunday at UIC at 6 pm eastern. Both games will be carried on ESPN3 and 106.5 FM/iHeart app with Chris Collins and Jim Brown.Â
