Swimming Prepares for Championships

The Wright State men's and women's swimming teams will compete in the Horizon League Championships Wednesday through Saturday at Cleveland State's Busbey Natatorium.
Prelims start at 10 am each day with the finals at 5:30 pm. Wednesday prelims start at 1:30 pm.

Mitch Stover, a native of Versailles, OH and Swimmer of the Week last week, was first in the 200 IM at 1:47.75 for his season best and first in the 100 fly at 47.91 at the Louisville Invitational. Abby Saner, from Xenia, OH and also Swimmer of the Week last week, was first in 200 IM at 2:06.70, second in 100 fly at 56.50 and fourth in 100 breast at 1:05.20 at Louisville for her best times of the season.
The men's team placed fourth last year while the women finished seventh.
