Busy Day in Dallas
3/14/2018 1:53:00 PM | Men's Basketball
The Wright State Raiders landed in Dallas on Tuesday to prepare for their NCAA game Thursday against the Tennessee Volunteers. Wednesday, the team spent much of the day at practice and meeting with the media.Â
All players and coaches were available for media interviews and many had their chance to talk with various publications and media outlets, including the USAToday as well as most of the local Dayton media who made the trip. Grant Benzinger, Loudon Love and Mark Hughes met in a formal interview area while their teammates conducted interviews in the locker room. Then, head coach Scott Nagy took the main stage for questions.
Following the extensive media period, the players and coaches made it to the floor for a 40-minute practice. They were greeted by the WSU Pep Band, Cheerleaders and Dancers as well as a group of rowdy fans.Â
A reminder for fans, Milano's Restaurants in the Dayton area will host Official Watch Parties at each location. Game time is 12:40 pm eastern on truTV. If you can't make it to a TV, fans can listen to Chris Collins and Jim Brown on 106.5 FM.
Attached are some interviews and transcripts from the day.
