Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Raiders battle No. 18 Duke to double OT draw

The Wright State men's soccer team battled No. 18 Duke to a 2-2 double overtime draw on the road Tuesday night behind goals from Jackson Dietrich and Deri Corfe. The Raiders move to 5-3-1 on the season and head back into Horizon League play on Saturday, while Duke also moves to 5-3-1.

Duke's Daniele Proch scored the lone first half goal, finding the bottom right corner of the net in the 14th minute to give the hosts the advantage they would hold throughout the remainder of the opening 45 minutes. With his goal, Proch has now either scored or assisted on nine of Duke's 17 goals this season.

The Raiders knotted things up for the first time in the 62nd minute, setting off a flurry of action on both sides. Dietrich found the bottom corner of the net off an assist from Corfe to tie the game at 1-1 for the moment, only to see Duke regain the lead 1:23 later Kristofer Gardarsson's goal. Wright State didn't fold, responding with a quick score of their own in the 65th minute as Corfe found the back of the net.

In total, the three second half goals spanned 2:28 minutes of play.
