Coaches Shows set for Giordano’s

The Wright State athletic department has announced that Giordano's will host the Wright State Basketball Coaches Shows on various Monday nights from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. throughout the 2019-2020 season. Twelve Mondays will feature women's coach Katrina Merriweather from 5:30-6 p.m. and men's coach Scott Nagy from 6-7 p.m. - including each Monday in January and three of the four Monday's in February during the heart of Horizon League play.
Giordano's is located at 2819 Centre Drive near the Mall at Fairfield Commons and Wright State's Nutter Center, and has seen large crowds for each show to date.
The shows will welcome fans in person and will also air on WONE 980 AM. Chris Collins, in his 23rd season as the Voice of the Raiders, will act as the host along with his radio partner, former Wright State coach Jim Brown. The show includes questions from Collins and Brown as well as fans and visits from players and assistant coaches.
Giordano's has been serving its Deep-Dish, Chicago-style pies since 1974. The location on Centre Drive is its first Dayton-area location and opened in mid-February.
