Women's Tennis welcomes three signees

Wright State women's tennis coach Ben Roeser has announced the signing of three players join the Raider program and continue their educations at Wright State University.

The newest Raiders are: Julia Bays, Sylvia Gray and Angelica Ross.

"We are very excited for our future Raiders," Roeser said. "I believe they will make an immediate impact on the team. This is our biggest recruiting class in the past couple years and I believe they are not only great athletes but strong students and good people."

Here's some background on each signee:
Julia Bays – A state qualifier as a junior, she played first singles at Beavercreek High School.

Sylvia Gray – From Greenfield, Ohio, she is ranked 273rd nationally and 15th in Ohio. Lost in quarterfinals of the state tournament to an eventual finalist.

Angelica Ross – From Painesville, Ohio, she is ranked 188th in the country and 10th in state. Lost in the first round of the state tournament in three sets to eventual state champion.
