Wampler Honored by Horizon League

Bill Wampler, a 6-6 junior forward for the Wright State men's basketball team, has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week, conference officials announced today.
Wampler, a native of Eau Claire, WI, collected his career-high 29 points against Northern Kentucky at home last Friday night. He shot 71% (10-14) from the field, connecting in four three pointers and adding five free throws, a block and a steal in 29 minutes off the bench. Wampler is averaging 15.0 points in 27 games in his first season with the Raiders.
Wright State is currently tied for first place with NKU at 16-11, 10-4. WSU will host Cleveland State Thursday at 7:00 PM and Youngstown State at 3:00 PM to close out the home portion of the regular season. For ticket information, go to wsuraiders.com.
