Love Honored by NABC

Wright State University men's basketball player Loudon Love has been selected the District 12 First Team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

"Loudon is humbled for being honored by the NABC, he has worked really hard all season," WSU head coach Scott Nagy said. "Although this is an individual honor, he would be the first to admit this is really a team award."

Love, a 6-8 sophomore from Geneva, IL, led the Raiders in scoring most of the season and finished the season at 15.1 points per game average, ranked seventh in the Horizon League.  His 8.2 rebounds per game ranked him third overall in conference.  A First-Team All-League member this season, he was second-team and Freshman of the Year selection in 2018.  He posted 12 double-doubles this season and an average of 16.6 points in league-only contests.  On January 28, the center was named the Horizon League Player of the Week.

The Raiders recently ended the 2019 season with a record of 21-14 and 13-5 as WSU tied for the regular-season title and advanced to the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), falling at Clemson 75-69.
