Wright State (20-29, 7-11 HL) travels to Cleveland State this weekend for their final road series of the year. The Raiders currently sit in sixth place in the Horizon League entering the final two weeks of the season. The two teams will open the series on Friday followed by a doubleheader on Saturday. Both games of the doubleheader will be available on ESPN+.

The Raiders will look to turn things around after dropping a doubleheader on Tuesday to Bowling Green. Wright State kept both games close until the final innings, but the Falcons score nine runs combined in the sixth inning of the doubleheader to take both games.

Raidyn Johnson continues to lead Wright State in batting average with a .368 mark overall and .432 in the conference. Johnson ranks in the top six in the Horizon League in average as well as on-base percentage (.449). Brianna Hutchinson posted a 3 for 6 day at the plate on Tuesday with a pair of RBI along with two walks. Makenna Durieux has posted a 3.36 ERA in 50 innings worked in the Horizon League while picking up three wins, two saves, and striking out 45.

The Vikings dropped their last series against Oakland, falling in back-to-back extra inning games on Wednesday. Wright State defeated the same Grizzlies team in two out of three games in their last conference series. Kelly Hysong has led the Vikings both in the circle and in the box. Hysong leads her team in batting average (.327) and home runs (10) along with strikeouts (82) and ERA (3.88).Â
Wright State leads the all-time series against the Vikings 56-45. Last year, the Raiders swept Cleveland State to close out the regular season.
