Raiders ready for All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships

The Wright State men's and women's country teams will have a small contingent competing this Saturday at the 2019 All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Cedarville University.

Over 40 colleges and universities are set to compete in the four total races: the men's championship 8K, the women's championship 6k, the men's open 8K and the women's open 6K. The action will get underway with the men's championship at 1 p.m., followed by the women's championship at 1:45 p.m., with the open races to follow.

The Raider women won the Rumble in the Fort last time out, while Nathan Dunn won the men's race as the Raider men finished third in the first time Wright State had raced at the event. Shelby Nolan was named the Horizon League's Women's Runner of the Week after finishing second overall with a time of 17:50.20 in the women's 5K race.

Saturday's meet will be held at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course, located on the north end of the Cedarville University campus just east of State Route 72.
