Wright State hosting Pregame Tailgate Saturday at Kroger

The Wright State athletic department and Kroger are holding a Pregame Tailgate on Saturday, January 18 prior to the Raider men's basketball team's matchup that night at 7 p.m. inside the Nutter Center.

Members of the athletic department will be at the Kroger location at 1161 East Dayton Yellow Springs Road in Fairborn, just off of Interstate 475 North, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. inside the Kroger bar area. The event will also feature appearances by a member of the men's basketball coaching staff and Rowdy Raider, along with Raider prize giveaways and the opportunity to purchase tickets for that evening's game.

Prize giveaways include: a basketball autographed by the 2019-2020 men's basketball team; two (2) courtside seats for the Raiders' nationally televised game against UIC on February 14 (ESPN2); an authentic Raider gear pack with a quarter zip jacket, a bucket hat and beanie; and 100 dollars' worth of Kroger gift cards.

Wright State takes on Youngstown State later that night inside the Nutter Center with a 7 p.m. tipoff in a Military Appreciation Game, with an Air Force swearing-in ceremony during halftime. The Raiders opening game in the three-game homestand this Thursday night, January 16, against Cleveland State will be $2 beer night, while the matchup with Northern Kentucky on January 24 will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
