Despite a hard fought battle, the Wright State women's tennis team fell to Austin Peay 7-0 at the South Regency Tennis and Fitness Center on Saturday night.

In singles action, junior Luisa Pelayo pushed Austin Peay's Fabienne Schmidt to set before falling, 6-4, 3-6, 1-6. Sophomore Andreea Craciun took Danielle Morris to three sets as well falling 6-2, 5-7, 1-6 and in the singles set, junior Jillian Milano forced three set before falling 6-7 (8-10), 6-5, 7-10. In doubles, the team of Luisa Pelayo and Grace Whitney defeated Danielle Morris and Jana Leder 6-1.

The Raiders prepare to face off Central Arkansas and Western Kentucky on Friday, February 14. With the first match starting a 9 a.m. and the second taking place at 4 p.m. in Murray, KY.
