With the win, the Raiders improve to 1-1-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the Horizon League, while Detroit Mercy drops to 1-1-0 overall and 1-1-0 in conference play. Wright State returns to action Tuesday, Feb. 16 as they welcome Northern Kentucky to Alumni Field.

Less than two minutes later, Zion Beaton's fifth minute goal tied the contest at 1-1. Mohamad Miri gave the hosts the advantage in the 18th minute to take the lead heading into halftime.
