
Track & Field travels for final two meets of regular season

The Wright State track and field team will compete at the 54th Gina Relays hosted by Hillsdale College on Thursday and Friday, before traveling to the RedHawk Invite* on Saturday. The Raiders are coming off a fourth-place finish at the Grizzly PR Classic hosted by Oakland last weekend.

LAST TIME OUT
GRIZZLY PR CLASSIC – Wright State turned in 18 Top-10 finishes on Saturday, as Callista Hess paced the Raiders with her second-place finish in the triple jump, jumping 10.22 meters. The 4x100 meter relay team of Jayla Tarver, Cameron Campbell, Kayle Willis, and Morgan Miller finished fourth with a time of 50.61 seconds.
Amelia Harlow and Tatiana Brown both placed fifth in the high jump, jumping 1.45 meters. While in the javelin throw, Tatiana Brown set a personal best with her throw of 26.01 meters. Emily Maclean also competed in the javelin throw placing sixth (22.34 meters).
EASTERN KENTUCKY - Shelby Nolan and Abigail Halsey represented Wright State at the Rick Erdmann Twilight on Saturday in Richmond, KY. Nolan recorded her eighth school record and 11th career with her time of 16:29 in the 5000 meters to finish seventh in the event. Halsey also competed in the 5000 meters (32nd, 18:21.35).Â
The Gina Relays and RedHawk Invite will be the final two regular-season meets for Wright State before heading to the Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships May 7-9 hosted by Youngstown State. Â
