Â
The Raiders dropped each of their head-to-head matches on the day, falling to Lewis (938-856), Medaille (959-862), Youngstown State (1,129-814), Duquesne (708-878) and Saint Francis (Pa.) (945-796). The team had a collective average of 801.8 for the five head-to-head matches as sophomore Makenzie Gossett had an average of 181.2, the highest average for the team through five games. Makenzie now sits in 32 out of 100 other competitors.
Â
Head coach Fleck mentioned that "the team is working hard to learn the quick transition and adjustments needed to attack them properly" as the action continues throughout the day.
Â
Wright State will bowl three more matches of qualifying on Sunday in the final day of action, and one best-of-seven Baker match will determine the tournament's final placings. The Raiders are set to take on Mercyhurst, Valparaiso, and Morgan State in head-to-head competition.Â

Transition - When oil from the lanes gets picked up and put on the bowling ball and then that spot becomes less usable and plays differently because of how much less oil there is in that spot. A player must adjust their playing style form because each lane is transitioning different.
