Bowling tallies two more victories in Saturday's action

DYER, IN – The Wright State bowling team picked up three more wins on Saturday in the second of The Valpo Bowling Classic.

The Raiders ended Saturday with a 5-5 record for the weekend and are currently sitting in 13th going in to match play on Sunday. The team tallied a total pinfall of 4,132 in Saturday's five traditional games and have a total pinfall of 8,211 through two days of action.

Wright State opened Saturday action with a loss to Kentucky Wesleyan (899-858) before the Raiders notched their first win of the day over Elmhurst (765-740). The Raiders lost to Marian (WI) (943-813) before rattling off two more wins against Wisconsin-Whitewater (876-853) and Alabama A&M (820-787) to end the qualifying of The Valpo Bowling Classic.

Sunday's final day of action will be bracketed style match play, with the Raiders beginning action against North Central College to open the day.
