Bowling announces signing of Ali Bell

DAYTON – Wright State head bowling coach Jeff Fleck announced Tuesday the signing of Ali Bell to continue her academic and athletic career at Wright State next fall.

A Georgetown, Ohio native, Bell prepped at Eastern High School, where she holds the school's records for high game with a 279, two-game series with a 513 and a three-game series with a 673. The Southern Hills Athletic Conference Athlete of the Year for 2022-23 and 2025-26, Bell was a four-year SHAC First Team All-Conference selection and was named OHSAA First Team All Ohio in 2023. She won the Royal Z Kick Off Tournament in 2024 and was runner-up in 2025, while also winning the Lynchburg Invitational Tournament in 2025 and 2026.

Wright State completed its first season as members of Conference USA in 2025-26, finishing the year with an 85-37 record while being ranked No. 11 in the March National Tenpin Coaches Association Coaches Poll. Nine Raider bowlers were named to the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll for their academic achievement in the classroom, while five Raiders were named Commissioner's Academic Medal winners for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.
