DAYTON — The Wright State women's soccer program will look to remain undefeated in Horizon League play on Thursday night against Green Bay at Alumni Field. The conference matchup will begin at 7 p.m. and stream on ESPN+.
Fans can pick up a free t-shirt at the entrance of Alumni Field. Admission will be free for all spectators.

LAST TIME OUT
Second-half goals by Josie Krupp and Marcella Sizer pushed Wright State to a 2-0 victory over Youngstown State in Horizon League action last Sunday. The Raiders were in control for the majority of the match, besting YSU in overall shots (12-10), shots on goal (7-4), and corner kicks (9-5).
After a scoreless opening half, Krupp put WSU on top with an unassisted goal at the 70-minute mark. Sizer contributed with three shots, including two on frame, resulting in the first goal of her career at WSU in the 79th minute. Goalkeeper Jessika Seward tallied four saves over 90 minutes en route to her third shutout of the season. Kaylee Pham and Olivia Mace also played the entirety of the game.

The Raiders were the lone Horizon League team to start 2-0 in conference play. Wright State has not opened the HL slate with three consecutive victories since 2009, ultimately finishing the year 6-2 in the conference.

The former Wright State men's soccer standout player helped the Raiders to victories over Marshall, Akron, IUPUI, Cleveland State, and UIC in 2021. Assistant coach Abbey Frail joined the Raiders in January 2022 after two seasons on the staff at her alma mater Wingate University. Last fall, as interim head coach, she guided the Bulldogs to an 11-6 overall record.
