Bowling begins 2023 calendar year at Cavalier Classic

DAYTON – The Wright State bowling team will kick off the 2023 calendar portion of its inaugural NCAA campaign this weekend as the Raiders take part in the Cavalier Classic on Saturday and Sunday in northwest Ohio.

TOURNAMENT INFO
The Cavalier Classic is a tournament running Saturday and Sunday in Canton, Ohio at AMF Hall of Fame Lanes. On Saturday, the team will bowl five traditional matches before four sets of Baker total pinfall matches and best-of-seven Baker bracket matches based on seeding on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT
Wright State is coming off a pair of tournament victories back in November, first winning the Raider Classic on November 13 before capturing the American Heartland III tournament on November 26.

LOOKING AHEAD
This weekend's action is the first of five tournaments slated for the 2023 portion of the schedule, with the Raiders next set to head to Missouri for the Columbia 300 Saints Invite January 27-29.
