Bowlers making quick trip to Columbus for Saturday action

DAYTON – The Wright State bowling team returns to the lanes on Saturday as the Raiders make the short trip to Columbus and Ohio Bowling Conference Event 3 at Columbus Square Bowling Palace.

Action begins at 10 a.m. and features five five-person team games and 12 Baker games.

The Raiders will feature two squads at the event, with the 'Green' team consisting of Alex Drsek, Makenzie Gossett, Natalie Hanson, Rylie Jeanneret, Paige Patterson, Mia Sayles and Alina Stebbins. The 'Gold' group will feature Abby Derham, Emma Hatfield, Anna Johns, Kennedy Moore, Phoenix Perry, Jasmine Schulze, Alli Shattuck

Competing teams on Saturday joining the Raiders include Akron, Baldwin Wallace, Kent State, Muskingum, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Northern Kentucky, Ohio Northern, Ohio State, Rio Grande, Robert Morris, Shawnee State, Tiffin, UNOH, Ursuline, Walsh, Wittenberg and Youngstown State.

Saturday's event wraps up the fall portion of Wright State's schedule, with the Raiders resuming action in mid-January at the Midwest Collegiate Classic in Illinois.
