Raider Student-Athletes Celebrate Graduation

A total of seven current or former Wright State student-athletes have completed their degree requirements and graduated as part of Wright State's fall commencement ceremonies on Dec. 13 and 14 inside the Nutter Center.

The group of student-athletes was part of the nearly 1,100 total graduates who celebrated between bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, doctoral degrees and associate degrees. The summer and fall classes of 2024 include graduates with 537 bachelor's degrees, 480 master's degrees, 34 doctoral degrees and 16 associate degrees.

Wright State University President Sue Edwards urged graduates to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead with open hearts and open minds.

"The path ahead has endless possibilities," Edwards said. "Always remember that only you are in control of your destiny and happiness. You have the power to change. Be your authentic self, seize every moment, pursue your passions with purpose, and never lose sight of the incredible potential that lies within each and every one of you."
