Wright State Men’s Basketball Signs Shane Through Team IMPACT

DAYTON – Wright State men's basketball head coach Clint Sargent has announced the signing of 14-year-old Shane through Team IMPACT.
Shane, who is living with Bardet-Biedl Syndrome and Stage 2 Fatty liver disease, officially signed with the team today and made it official with a signing day celebration at the Mills Morgan Center/Setzer Pavilion.
Wright State has partnered with Team IMPACT for the past 10 years, matching children with the golf, volleyball, baseball, women's soccer, men's soccer, track & field, men's basketball, and women's basketball programs.
"We're always looking to add people who are tough and have a great perspective on life," Sargent said. "Shane's grateful heart, resilience, and determination make him a huge addition to our locker room."
