Cross Country set for action in a pair of meets

DAYTON – The Wright State cross country teams will be in action in a pair of competitions this weekend, with the majority of the Raiders taking part in Friday night's All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge, while Wright State will also have a contingent competing at the John McNichols Invitational on Saturday morning.

On Friday, the women's 6K race will kick-off action at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge at 6 p.m., followed by the men's 8K race at approximately 6:40 p.m. out at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course at Cedarville University.

Saturday's John McNichols Invitational action will take place at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at Indiana State, with Wright State having select student-athletes participating in the men's 8K race. That race is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. in Indiana.

Following the pair of meets this weekend, the Raiders will next be in action again on Friday, October 4 when they race in the Joe Piane Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.
