Bowlers roll into Delaware to start January this weekend

DAYTON - The Wright State bowling team returns to action this weekend for the first time in the 2025 calendar year with action at the Northeast Classic in Delaware. The three-day tournament begins Friday morning in suburban New Castle, Delaware at the Bowlerama and runs through Sunday.

The top 15 ranked teams and 22 of the 25 ranked teams in the country are competing in the event, while the 38-team field is the largest in the history of NCAA women's bowling. Last year's Northeast Classic champion and 2024 NCAA tournament champion Jacksonville State will be defending their title.
The Raiders will be presented by Faith Ford, Natalie Hanson, Rylie Jeanneret, Anna Johns, Addy Meshew, Mia sayles, Jasmine Schulze, and Alli Shattuck.
Friday's action will begin at 10 a.m. and consist of five five-game Baker matches before five traditional game matches on Saturday beginning at 9:25 a.m., with the weekend wrapping up on Sunday at 8:25 a.m. with bracket play (three best-of-seven Baker matches).
