DAYTON – The Wright State volleyball team made quick work of visiting Youngstown State on Friday night, as a trio of Raiders all had double-digit kills in the three-set sweep.

Wright State (11-6, 5-1 Horizon League) saw Reilly Zegunis turn in a match-best 11 kills and received 10 kills each from Mya Ayro and Katie Sowko as the Raiders finished the night hitting .303 as a group with 44 kills, while Youngstown State (7-10, 2-4 Horizon League) was slow out of the gates before finishing the night with 28 kills and a .071 team hitting percentage.

The Raiders used large scoring runs in all three sets on Friday, rolling in the opening set 25-11 thanks to tallying six of the first seven points and leading 17-3 before closing out the set. The second set was 11-all before Wright State used a 14-2 run to end the set and the final set saw the Raiders score seven of the first nine points before a late 6-2 run pushed them into the sweep.

Zegunis hit .429 with just two errors to go along with her 11 kills, adding three blocks, while Sowko chipped in seven digs to pair with her 10 kills and Ayro added a pair of blocks as six different Raiders tallied a kill in the win. Lauren Yacobucci notched her ninth double-double of the campaign with 31 of the Raiders' 42 assists as she added 11 digs as she filled her stat line with four service aces and a pair of blocks, while Taygan Corstange finished with a match-best 14 digs and Ella Gaona had 11 digs of her own to go along with two service aces.

Abbie Householder had a double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs in the loss for Youngstown State, while Kameron Blizniak also had a double-double with 16 assists and 10 digs for the visitors.
