DAYTON/INDIANAPOLIS — Wright State's
Elena Dubuc has earned an honorable mention on the Horizon League Volleyball All-Academic Team, as the conference office announced the 18-member list voted on by the League's faculty athletics representatives.
To be eligible for Horizon League All-Academic consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale), have completed at least one year at the member institution (excluding summer school), having earned 24 semester-hour or 36 quarter-hour credits, and participate in 50 percent of the team's overall contests.
Dubuc, a senior Biological Sciences major, has appeared in all 27 of the Raiders matches entering the postseason, tallying 102 total sets played as a right side hitter, with 158 total kills and a 1.55 kills/set average this season. She has appeared on the all of the Horizon League Academic Honor Rolls she has been eligible for, beginning with the first she was eligible for in Spring 2023. Dubuc's work in the classroom has earned her a spot on the Wright State University Dean's List in each semester, including with highest honors in Fall 2022, high honors in Spring 2024, Fall 2024 and honors in Spring 2023 and Fall 2023.
