Men's Basketball heads to Purdue Fort Wayne for midweek matchup

DAYTON - The Wright State men's basketball team is back on the road for a midweek matchup at Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday night, with tipoff set for 7 p.m. Fans can follow the action several ways - via live stats, by watching on ESPN+ or by tuning in to the home for Raider Basketball 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play radio feed.
Fans can tune into 101.5 HANK FM live over the air in the Dayton metro area, as well stream the station live nationwide through a variety of free streaming apps. Brandon Noel led Wright State with 17 points, adding four rebounds, as the lone Raider in double figures, with Michael Imariagbe turning in nine points off the bench with five rebounds and a pair of blocks. Solomon Callaghan and Welage each added eight points

Alex Huibregtse has connected from long range in 32 straight games dating back to February 2024. The stretch is the longest three-point streak for the Raiders since Grant Benzinger connected on a triple in 34 straight contests between Jan, 29, 2017 and February 1, 2018.

Wright State leads the short series 12-7 against Purdue Fort Wayne despite dropping the first meeting of the season. Nine of the 14 all-time matchups came back during the 1980's. The Raiders have won five of the last nine meetings dating back to the 2003-04 season. Alex Huibregtse turned in a season-best and game-high 31 points in the first meeting on a night where he joined the Raider 1,000 point club, but Wright State fell in double overtime 120-113 to Purdue Fort Wayne back on January 15.
